This Veggie Rub is a fragrant blend of spices that gives a bit of a kick with the chilli and is balanced out with some sweetness. The inspiration behind our Plant-Based Range that was launched in 2019, was that we wanted to create products that really uplifted your veggie and vegan cooking with a focus on the growing flexitarian market.
The range came about after a change in some of their customers’ cooking behaviour. “We kept getting asked if our current ranges were vegan friendly. In short, yes, they are. The ingredients we use are all vegan friendly however the products have always been intended for use on meat with our British Roasts and British BBQ ranges. And the packaging and application reflected that. So, we listened to our customers and quickly realised that there are a lot of highly processed vegan food and people want cleaner and more natural products. So, using our extensive knowledge of spices and flavours we set about designing a range of rubs and dusts to simply complement and lift vegetables and vegetable dishes” said Ross Bearman, founder of Ross & Ross.
The range includes seasonings, oils and gifts linked to our British Roast Dinner Range, where we have created some veggie and vegan roast dinner products.
Veggie Rub No. 4 (50g) – Paprika, Pancha, Chipotle, Ancho, Guajillo, Smoked Paprika, Coriander, Celery Salt, Nutmeg, Onion, Sugar, Tarragon.

I love the chicken rub and I use it on every roast. I prefer to use it on my roasters than chicken. I also quite like the roast dust on chicken and pick it up when I fancy a treat.
I bought this for a gift & hope that it is loved as much as it was by my husband last year. It is an inspired range of food products. It was well packaged & arrived quickly. I would certainly buy from this range again.

Very nice , well cooked , flavoursome , and the smoked flavour comes over well .
This is wonderful, full of flavour, great with ham, delicious on strong cheese and biscuits. I did a pork loin with it as a glaze, it certainly has a punch, the balance of flavours is great, love it, love it. Id like to try other jams but I can't have garlic or onion, maybe you could make a lime jam without garlic or onion I would certainly buy and recommend. Anything without onion and garlic is great.
